reach — Right of Withdrawal

This notice informs consumers with habitual residence in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom of their statutory right to withdraw from a contract concluded with reach, the operator of the reach platform ("reach", "we", "us"). It applies to paid subscriptions (Premium) and to one-time purchases (Top-Up Credits, custom Domains) made through reach. The information below is provided in accordance with § 312d of the German Civil Code (BGB), Article 246a EGBGB, and Directive 2011/83/EU.

1. Who has a right of withdrawal?

Only consumers, meaning natural persons concluding the contract for purposes outside their trade, business, profession, or self-employment, have a right of withdrawal under this notice. Business users (B2B) have no statutory right of withdrawal.

2. Withdrawal Instructions

2.1 Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

2.2 How to exercise the right of withdrawal

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You may use the model withdrawal form set out in the Annex below, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

2.3 Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

3. Early loss of the right of withdrawal — digital services and digital content

Important — please read carefully

reach provides digital services and digital content (in particular: AI-generated websites, AI Credits, hosting, online editor functionality). Under § 356 (4) and § 356 (5) BGB and Article 16 (m) and (n) of Directive 2011/83/EU, your right of withdrawal expires early if all of the following conditions are met:

you have given your express prior consent that we begin performance of the contract before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period; and
you have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal as soon as performance has begun (for digital services) or as soon as the supply of the digital content has commenced (for AI Credits and downloadable items); and
we have provided you with confirmation of the contract on a durable medium (e.g. by email).

By ticking the consent box at checkout (see Section 4 below), you give this express consent and acknowledgment. This means that, once we have begun providing the Service or made AI Credits available to your Account, you can no longer withdraw from the contract for the part already performed, and we will not refund the corresponding fees.

4. Express consent at checkout

At checkout you will be asked to tick the following consent box. Without ticking this box, the contract cannot be concluded:

I expressly request that reach begin performance of the contract immediately, before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period. I acknowledge that I will lose my right of withdrawal as soon as the contract has been fully performed, or — for digital services and digital content provided on an ongoing basis (such as Premium, AI Credits, hosting) — for the part already performed.

5. Custom Domains

The right of withdrawal is excluded for custom Domain registrations once we have submitted the registration request to Name.com on your behalf, because the registration is then made to your specifications and cannot be revoked at the registry. By proceeding with a Domain purchase you expressly accept this exclusion under § 312g (2) No. 1 BGB.
